Guest guest
An Avatara Purusha Sri V. Raja Gopala Iyer Sri Sai Baba is an Avatara Purusha of Siva, Rama, Krishna and Maruthi. His name itself is a sacred manthra, fulfilling the desires and aspirations of his virtuous devotees. The japa 'OM NAMO BHAGAVATHE SRI SAI BABAYA ' creates in us a feeling of calmness and mental peace and wards off all diseases. He looks after us, fondles us like a mother and guides us like a father. He dwells in the 'Hrithaya komala kosa' (lotus heart) of his devotees and performs miracles like Lord Krishna in the Bhagavatha for them. He always acts according to His saying: ' Why fear, when I am here '. He is beyond the bounds of religion and helps his bhakthas - whether Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, Jains, Christians, irrespective of caste or creed, high or low, rich or poor. Though he attained 'NIRVANA', shedding his mortal coils on 15th, October 1918, (Kanya masa Sukla Ekadasi, yet He is spiritually with us, and guides us on our onward march of life materially and eventually to God realization (Jeevanmukthi) through a simple bhakthi marg. The mere utterance of the names of Baba as in Vishnu Sahasranama and Devi Bhagavatha with pure love and devotion makes one godly and leads one to the Supreme, Abode Eternal, with mental equipoise and peace and all round bliss and happiness, " SATCHITANANDA " eventually. When we get into commu-nion with the divine atmosphere, we forget ourselves shedding egoism, hatred, envy, prejudice and all other evils, and blend ourselves with all virtuous acts with int-ense faith and devotion, as emaciated by realized souls like Shri Shankara, Madhwa, Ramanuja, Narayana Maharaj and other Acharyas, and our revered and beloved H. H. Pujya Shri Narasimha Swamiji and H. H. Pujya Shri Saipadananda Radhakrishna Swamiji, and others. Let us try to devote ourselves to the service of God unselfishly doing our duties conscientiously - Karma Yoga - by the simple path of Devotion - Bhakthi Yoga and finally enter the realms of Jnana Yoga as stated by Lord Krishna (in the Bhagawat Gita) to Arjuna, and become one with the effervescent, omnipotent omniscient, the radiating splendor, the Paramatma. May God Almighty and Devi Parasakthi bless us one and all - is our sincere an heart - felt prayer. Om Santhi, Om Santhi, Om Santhihi (The author is the elder brother of H.H. Sri Saipadananda Radhakrishna Swamiji).
