YOUTH

 

Ignorant youth falls a prey to various playful propensities of the

restless mind and is thrown from sorrow to sorrow. The demon of lust

residing in the pit of the heart, brings under its sway the young man

who loses self-control.

 

That man rightly deserves the appellation of the tranquil one, who has

safely crossed the terrible forest of youth so full of curious

incidents.

 

It would be easier to cross a turbulent river than to relinquish the

longings of youth. Youth is the cause of degradation of one who is

devoid of discrimination.

 

As a gem vanishes from the grip of an illstarred person, the bird of

youth flies away from the body in no time.

 

'A brute of a man' is the fittest description of a person who is elated

and fascinated by youth that lasts not.
