Guest guest
Dear Members, “ Why do Sadhus wander about from place to place? Can't they do good to the world through their 'tapas'? If they remain in a place and perform 'tapas', would this not bring good to the world? Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji: Well! Sadhus wander about not with the purpose of seeing people but for the people to see them! When a 'Maha Purusha' comes down to earth, all those who are connected with Him, in some way or the other, during His Avatara 'kala' (Time of Incarnation), those who offer Him even a bowl of gruel ('kanji') once, all of them cross this ocean of 'samsara'. The Maha Purusha helps all - the home where He sits even for a while, one from whom He accepts flowers or fruits, one to whom He speaks a few words, one whom He touches, one to whom He gives something that He has touched - across the ocean of 'samsara'. In this manner the Mahapurusha helps crores of people across the ocean of 'samsara'. Why? The very Avatar is only to help them ashore! Bhagavan nurtures the desire that people should see Him!
