I recite Hanuman chalisa every day. It is not working. Why?

Some people choose the mantra or strotra after reading the Phala

Sruthi.Usually at the end of strotra there is a list of benefits.

The longer the list that is the one they choose and recite.

Some look for complicated strotras, beeja mantras like Pram, preem,

bhraum, vashat etc.

 

They think the more complicated, it is better.

 

Some read and recite a strotra with out knowing the meaning.

 

Example:

 

How many people who recite Lalitha Sahasra namam know where is Rudra

grandhi, Vishnu grandhi, Brahma grandhi in their body?

What does Rudra Grandhi Bhedinye namah means?

 

Shirdi Sai baba says if one reicites EVEN one Nama with

understanding the meaning and contemplating from 1000 names of

Vishnu Sahasra Nama---- will be benefited.

 

Kanchi swami says the very first mantra from Lalitha sahasra Nama

" Ohm eim hreem shreem Sri Matre namah " is good enough.

 

You address her as mother and just simply ask her take care of you.

No need to make a grocery list of requests.

 

Some have Vyabhichara Bhakthi (prostitution) with gods.

 

One day in the for one god. Or they know too many strotras and

recite them for many Gods. Idea behind ----throw 100 stones one

will hit.

 

Now coming to chalisa Sri Hanuman

Do you know the meaning? Have you offered Naivedya?

Did you say at least one chant like " Sri Ram jaya ram jaya jaya ram " .

I am sure you will open the door ofyour house if you here the door

bell ringing or some one knocking it? Probably you stood at the door

with out pressing the bell.

 

For one to receive the fruits of reciting apart from Sraddha and

Bhakthi.

 

One needs to reach a threshold. That means for the coffee in the cup

to spill in to a saucer the cup must be full and one should keep on

pouring it to spill in to the saucer .For response one needs

commitment.

Tulasi das says recite 100 times at time for siddhi

 

And he promises in the name of Gauri. Sit for 6 hours and recite it

100 times few days and then continues it.

Do you know when your Doctor treats a patient for diabetes or high

blood pressure there is a loading (high)dose to be followed by

maintenance dose.

Have you surrendered and said sharan to him?

If you have not done all this,

do it and come back.
