Guest guest
prof Anil Kumar explain on love ...2nd part of his talk to Russian devotees. What does true love means? If true love is not expressed in words or feelings? The sun and the moon are not separated; they are one and the same. Gold and glitter are one and the same. Love is not a character it is a quality. Love as a quality is different from Love as a character. If you play a role and your Love is based on others mercy or what you can get your love will change like the wind. Human love is fragile, very delicate. In the morning it is there in the evening it is gone. All small things can destroy it. If Love comes from within it is natural it is the essential nature of the soul. Love will have the intention of giving and forgiving. When you do something out of love you will feel joy in it. Love and peace are the strongest forces that transform your life Fire burns and the burning is the quality of fire, cold is the quality of ice, similarly Love is the quality, of your nature. It is what you are now, not something to become or which will be removed from you tomorrow. If your love is pure deep and intense you will feel the presence of Divine. Give Love to others and it will come back to you without seeking. This true Love is unconditional beyond time and space. To search for truth is, as it were a love affair of the seeker with God, the Absolute Consciousness. People full of love and deep joy, are those who are one way or the other aware of the Divine. Love is non possessive. Attachment is possessive. You cannot manipulate love it happens when it happens. It is something transcendental, you cannot manage it. Love is freedom not bondage. You cannot put a person you love in a cave and lock the door as a pet parrot. That is possessiveness we do not own anyone or anything in this life. Not even your own body is yours, if you really were the owner of your body you would never allow it to go or to age. If you are Love there is no question of hating someone, this Love is universal, existential. You love the wonder of nature, the wonder of how life unfolds. Your love is felt by others, without any special ex- pression of words or feelings. Baba doesn't express so many words or feeling during His Darshan but we all feel His presence in some way or another. Love is a quality not a character, am I clear? Baba talks about the power of discrimination and on another side he is saying everything is God. Does discrimination exist in Advaita, the non dual teaching? Discrimination is a faculty, inborn intelligence and it is given to us by the Divinity. The bulb is shining not all by itself, but because the current has gone in. The flow of the current is the flow of Divinity which gets into the mind and intellect and makes it think and develop a sense of discrimination. A dead body cannot discriminate. Advaita is non-dualism, non-identification. Advaita is the source, the seed which expresses into many. Advaita establishes unity, connects person to person in Oneness. It will make you to grow above hatred, enmity, difference of opinion because in the Advaita state you are uniform, full of Love and Bliss. Christ loved his friends and enemies alike, rich and poor; that is Advaita Consciousness. It is only an Advaiti or a non dualist who can love all because he looks at the Consciousness which is present in everyone, which is uniform. Thank you very much for being here this morning I thank the Divine schedule and the Divine arrangement for the possibility, it is nothing personally.
