Guest guest
Belated Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers. Hope everyone of us still remember, about a week back almost all of us would have greeted mother and took blessings. Happy and pleased the mother would have blessed :Dhirgayusman/ayushmati bhava, sakala aiswarya vridhirastu etc., Do you still remember those childhood days, mother watching you and saying word of precaution while you are playing in the garden, jumping on to the street from home while rushing to school etc., How often did you not feel, as you grew up, and not said Oh Mam’ enough I am grown up, I can take care of my self etc., Undoubtedly Mother plays a great role in everyone life, simply she is irreplaceable, right? She would have sacrificed a lot, Nine months bearing you, few years later as you grew up. She was the most caring person for almost everyone. That’s the reason our scriptures say MATRU DEVO BHAVA – Mother is like goddess PITRU DEVO BHAVA – Father is like god ACHARYA DEVO BHAVA – Guru dev is like god ATIDHI DEVO BHAVA– Guest is like god Giving a pause here, lets look at the concept of Universal mother (Matadi, Lalita, Durga, Kali etc.,) Sage Ved Vyas in Lalita Sahasranama says AA BRAHMAKEETA JANANI – describes goddess Lalita as the mother of whole universe, from a tiny creature to Brahma How can we describe the affection of the mother of the universe on her children (sakala charachara sristi is her children) She is described as SHIPRA PRASADINI – instantly responds to your call originating from the bottom of the heart. So did we remember the mother almighty on the Mother’s day? Is it enough to pray on one day? Make worship, nama japa , stotra as part of daily life. All names are of her only and all of us her creation. May goddess bless you all.
