Significance of " Om Sai "

Om Guru Guhaya Sainathaya Namah -Sai naama opens one's heart for the

lord to rest His feet and make thy soul thirst or His grace to take the

path of namasmaran.

Shirdi Sai is an avatar of Paramatrna. He came from Him, lived by Him

and returned to Him. Now as an Apantaratma and Kaliyuga Radhakrishna He

is carrying out the will of the 'Allah Malik' (when a Jnani or

Jivanmukta dies wishing to continue His Personality and Mission, the

soul surviving thereafter in a subtle form is called Apantaratrna).

Sadguru Sai Baba had assured His devotees that He would bless them from

His Samadhi Mandir. Baba is now speaking to His devotees in subtle

silence from His Tomb and His silent talk seems to be more eloquent to

puzzled mind, fulfilling their wishes and leading them to Shubra Marga.

He has given us the spiritual Treasure of namasmaran of " Om Sai, Sri

Sai, Jaya Jaya Sai " for self-realization liven chanting " Sai, Sai and

Sai " is equally powerful in mitigating the sins of past Karma. Our

Sadguru has approved His celestial name, 'Sai' for Constant namajapa or

ceaseless contemplation. " MAHAMANTRA "

The word 'Sai' has a life, Sai is Cum Ratna and His name is Mahamantra.

The music of Sai's name refreshes one's mind and it proves to be the

sanctuary of the soul. Sai naamasmaran is an elixir for enlightenment.

One's atma, sphere should be filled with the vibration of Sai naama and

such a soul can attain sadgati in the last hours of its life.

The wavelength of the Vedic sound " OM " if combined with the celestial

shabd (sound) Sai, its power of vibration will be unfathomable. The

radiant sound current is the connecting link between God and His

Creation. Vedic sound 'OM' eludes the power of God.

This eternal and ethereal sound would surely lead us to the liberation

of soul from human bondage. The soul of the listener of this sound gains

the all-pervading consciousness. When once directly connected with this

sound energy we can enjoy peace, contentment and inner bliss. The

sensory currents would automatically be drawn upwards. To tune our

consciousness to the Divine shabd, we need the help of a Sadguru.

That Sadguru is our Shirdi Sai and His real form comes before the

devotee once he utters His name through the shabd " OM SAI " This shabd

assumes the form of Sai to be able to communicate with the devotees and

show him the right path. Naamasmaran can render asunder the bondage of

one's samsara and soak him in inner joy. Naamasmaran is one of the

greatest gifts with which our Supreme sage of Shirdi has endowed us to

realise the soul and the self and enjoy the heavenly bliss in this

mortal and living world itself.

" Purifies the Mind "

The jewel of these shabd " OM SAI " purities one's mind and makes it the

right place for the Lord to slay in his heart. The enlightenment of the

Self and Soul is the limitless bliss a devotee can derive from the

ceaseless chanting of 'OM SAI'. When the mind comes into contact with

this supreme and lasting enjoyment, it enthrills the soul all the time.

The one who brings the soul into contact of this shabd, 'OM SAI' is the

real master. The Lord, who has created this Universe, has entrusted the

key of Naamajapa and its secret to one's Sadguru.

Oh! Mind of mine

It is good you decided to surrender see Him,

Our Sainath on His pedestal

He has taken charge of you

Doubt not there is any great state

Dwell always on His Name

And ever chant Sai, Sai, Sai!

When senses fail, memory slips

Breathing flinches and the body shivers

And as the soul takes upward journey

Whose help one can seek except Sai, Sai, Sai!

We can imbibe this spirit only with Sai's grace

For to us mercy knows no limit as exhibited in Shirdi days
