I have learned that you should never go to bed with an argument unsettled. I have learned that the best way to lose a friend is to lend him money. I have learned that education, experience, and memories are three things no one can take away from you. I have learned that it's taking me a long time to become the person I want to be. I have learned that Mom wouldn't like my boyfriend even if he were captain of the football team and sang in the church choir. I have learned that kindness is more important that perfection. I have learned that nothing is more fun that a job you enjoy. I have learned that when your husband cooks, you should compliment everything he fixes. I have learned that if you look for the worst in life and in people, you'll find it. But if you look for the best, you look for the best, you'll fine that instead. I have learned that more comfort doesn't necessarily mean more happiness. I have learned that the greater a person's sense of guilt, the greater his need to cast blame on others. I have learned that you shouldn't look back except to learn. I have learned that when traveling overseas, it's best to carry a good supply of American-made toilet paper. I have learned that it's best not to quit at quitting time. I have learned that my children's birthday make me feel older than my own birthday does. I have learned that men who wear bow ties are usually great dancers. I have learned that when my daddy kisses me in the mornings, he smells like a piece of Jolly Rancher candy. I have learned that you can't tell how far a frog can jump just by looking at him. I have learned that when someone tells you it's the principle of thing and not the money, it's usually the money. I have learned that if I eat donuts today I wear them tomorrow. I have learned that it very painful to see my negative personality traits alive in my children.
