Guest guest
Thinking and Understanding When understanding arises thinking disappears. Understanding is like eyes; you see it, you do not grope. Thinking is groping, guessing. understanding, unlike thinking, has no questions, but only answers. Thinking is borrowed. All your thoughts are given to you by others. The mind functions like a computer, but before the computer gives you any answer it has to be fed. you have to supply all the information, then only it will give you the answer. Understanding is pure intelligence. Nobody can give you intelligence. Knowledge can be given to you, but not intelligence. Through deep meditation one sharpens one's being, drops borrowed thoughts, reclaims one's own being, reclaim one's originality, innocence and freshness.
