Guest guest
Liberation is Dependent on Your Discipleship God is the Spiritual Master (Guru) of everyone, " Krishanam vande Jagadgurum " and His Mantra (spiritual advice) is Gita. By just listening to Gita, the attachment (moha) of Arjuna was destroyed. Arjuna accepted that he was rid of his attachment only due to the grace of God (Gita 18:73). If you accept God as Guru, your job is done. The work is completed. In God, you will receive everything. Guru is the essence (element), Guru is not a human being. That is why it is said that, to see a Guru in a human being and to see a human being in a Guru is crime. Salvation is not attained for you by a Guru, but it is possible because of your own discipleship. Will Guru be able to liberate you if you don't accept him? To attain liberation is dependent upon the disciple. You can find many Gurus but to find a disciple is more difficult. Disciples are rare, not the Gurus. A seeker is rare, not the knowledge. A person desiring God Realisation is rarer than the God Himself. Just as when a fruit matures (it ripens and is ready on the tree), the parrot itself comes to the fruit, similarly, a Guru himself comes to an able disciple. Swami Jyotiji Maharaj used to say that God is realised by him, who is hungry (for God). Those who say that you become my disciple and I will give you spiritual knowledge, they in reality do not possess the knowledge. Those who have a desire to make disciples, they are slaves of the disciples, how can they become Gurus? Guru is he, who has no desires of any sort whatsoever.
