When we try to adjust sun's ray's on paper, we need a magnifying lens and steady hands. Once hands are steady and Sun's rays are focused on a spot, an extremely bright spot appears and soon the temperature rises to burn paper. Identically it is necessary to focus at the eye center!! Once our attention is focused, we will see the light - the divine light - the guiding light!! How do we achieve this?? By Bhajan and Sumiran!! When we sit in meditation, close our eyes, repeat the five names given to us, we are actually withdrawing all our attention from worldly thoughts. When we concentrate on the eye center, we bring our consciousness along!! We are now focused. When we sit in dhyan we try to listen to the sounds coming from divine regions. Concentrating our attention on these sounds, we focus our attention and concentration further towards our goal. Hence we see flashes of light!! If we focus more, we see the light itself!!
