Life means service. Life's purpose is this and nothing else. We can serve by thought, word, and action. A thought of love and goodwill, that goes from us towards others, immensely helps. A kind and healing word uttered relieves a load of sorrow from the hearts of those who are in trouble. An active aid rendered to those who are beset with pains and afflictions is a source of incalculable solace. One who lives such a life is a true devotee and servant of God.
