Guest guest
Goal is one, Paths differ. While there is Unity in Diversity amongst Religious beliefs, why do people fight or wage wars? Commonalities lead to Unity and the peculiarities lead to Diversity. All religions advocate the role of the man to understand the Eternal Truth, The Omni Potent, The Omni Present, The Self, and The God- all these being used as synonyms. They severally and collectively propagate love for the welfare of man and of all other beings in the creation. While the process of creation follows Physical reproduction by different species, they preach that they are all created by one – The God. All agree, advocate and pursue the existence of the formlessness of God, They do believe in some forms as icons of God. They all believe that what is seen in creation – birth , life, death ( Srushti, Sthiti, Laya) – are all acts of God for His Divine Play. They say that everything in His creation belongs to Him. The birth and death cycle through which every individual entity goes through is according to an unalterable Divine Plan. Each part of the creation is essentially for the welfare of man. They believe that God created man in His form. No one had seen God but had experienced His Grace. Every one draws some rules and regulations to be followed to please God. Every one trusts that God is present in each individual being and that man should strive to realize God in each entity in the creation. They advocate different prayers to please God and to get their wishes fulfilled – mundane or metaphysical. Pain and pleasure are taken as the means by which God directs them to reach Him. They commonly preach not to hurt any other being in creation under any circumstances, to please God – be kind to all. They do advocate regularity, timeliness, sincerity, and love towards God, to be developed and practiced under all circumstances by man. They agree that man is the only being endowed with thinking and analysis that should lead him to God Realisation / Self Realisation. They observe God in the form of Time and that each event in life is controlled by Time. They generally accept every thing is under the Divine Control, well timed and executed with perfection. They propitiate that the religious rules, regulations and practices are to be strictly adhered to and if one differs he would be committing a sin that would lead to his punishment or pain endowed by God.
