Quote of the day

ANSWER THE CALL OF CHRIST

Make the Self-Realization Fellowship [Yogoda Satsanga] Lessons your

daily study, and meditate every night. Don’t go to bed until you have

communed with God. In the silence of the night, in the bower of your

consciousness, beyond the reach of the noisy senses, renew your

romance with God. In the bower of Infinitude, beneath His mooned Joy,

have eternal communion with the Beloved of the universe.

-- Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda

Excerpts from THE DIVINE ROMANCE (427)

PRAYER

O All-Pervading Spirit, the breeze of Thine inspiration has removed

the clouds from my heart. The firmament of my mind is clear, and with

a purified soul, I behold Thee alone †" everywhere. The sunshine of Thy

joy rapidly spreads to the farthest reaches of my being. After my

hunger of ages, I feed upon Thy light. By Thy grace and by my constant

wakefulness, may such joy be mine, forever and forever.

-- Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda

Yogoda Satsanga Lessons (137)

An inspiration thought of the day August 10

Surrender to God

“Lord, my hands and feet are working for You. You have given me a

certain part to play in this world, and everything I am doing in this

world is for You.†Surrender your self to God and you will find that

your life will become like a beautiful melody. If you try to do

everything in the consciousness of God, you will see with joy that

every day He is choosing certain duties for you to perform.
