Sin and Piety

If some one harms us, then in fact it only leads to our benefit;

because due to his favour, our sins are removed.

By doing wrong to others, we inevitably incur sins, even by

listening and speaking ill of others we incur sins.

On having intense and ardent desire for one's salvation, a sadhak's

(spiritual aspirant's) sins are destroyed.

There is no sin equal to turning away from Bhagavaan (God), and

turning towards the world.

Now onwards I will not commit any sins again - this is sin's true

remorse, true penance.

Those sins that are committed in human birth, will take one to hell

and even after going through and experiencing 8.4 million births,

they are not exhausted, rather they remain and become the cause of

births and deaths.

When man becomes happy in favorable situations and unhappy in

unfavorable situations, there and then he gets bound by sins and

virtues.

Giving importance to the perishable is bondage. Therefore all sins

are born.

If there is desire for happiness, then in spite of not desiring to

commit any sins, sins will take place. It is the desire for

happiness itself that teaches one to commit sins. If you want to be

free of all sins then give up the desire for happiness.

Where one wants to hurt others or has an eye towards fulfilling once

self-centered wants, then right there one incurs sin that binds

him.

By hiding and maintaining secrecy, both sins and piety result in

special fruit, therefore one must reveal their sins, but one must

not reveal their virtues.

There is no greater virtue than turning a person towards God, and

there is no charity like it.

P.S.

In today's message, it is clearly stated that - " There is no greater

virtue than turning a person towards God, and there is no charity like

it. " Therefore please use this opportunity to share this message with

your friends and family encouraging them to turn towards God, if they

have not done so already.
