Guest guest
Greatness Judging one's self to be great or not so great, things that are created that will someday perish is a grave mistake, an absurdity. To consider one's self small and to consider others great is true greatness. Whereas considering ourselves to be great and others to be small, is lowliness. Great is he who makes others great. He who makes others small, he himself is small, he is a slave. Considering yourself to be great due to wealth, land, house etc. i.e. believing yourself to be great due to relationship with the inert, is perversion of the intellect. By taking worldly objects, the man who considers himself to be great, he is made small by the same worldly objects. First we were great, then we earned money. Now we began to consider ourselves great due to the wealth, therefore in actuality the wealth has become great, and we have become small ! It is the wealth that has attained the respect and we have been disgraced.
