Guest guest
The social and spiritual life of Telugus is replete with celebrations that allow people to come together as common cultural group. During Dasaranavaratri festival days, the energy aspect of almighty is invoked in the form of Universal mother Lalita Tripurasundari. In these days, the Godess is decorated in nine incarnations and on the 10th day Dasara ,She is worshipped with prayers as Lalita Devi. The related stories from Devi Bhagavatam connected with these decorations or avataaras convey significant messages for Personality development and bliss. One Sloka from DeviBhagavatam: Nodyamena vinarajyam nasukham naparaamgatim Nirudyamamnasamsanti kaataraa nachasodyamaha Without effort or purushaprayatnam nothing can be achieved in life, either worldly happiness or moksham. Only incapables think of non-effort and lazy do not make any effort for success and excellence. Adi Sankara gifted us 'Lalita Pancharatnam' for ritual recitation during these festival days. Reading, singing , listening and understaninding showers the blessings of mother Durga. We listen to Adi Sankaracharya's Lalita Pncharatnam during the Navaratri days. http://www.archive.org/search.php?query=dr.anjaneyulu%20goli% 20AND%20collection%3Aopensource_audio
