On Prayer, unfortunately, our approach is totally on sided and

selfish. We are devoted only for the sake of worldly success. We all

pray for material gain, which is nothing but appeals, demands and

requests for fulfillments of desires. This is not prayer at all. This

is not devotion.

 

The right way to pray is to accept and surrender to the will of the

Lord. It is also an act of thanks giving and act of gratitude to God.

When we feel a sense of gratitude, then prayer is no longer for any

receiving or a business contract- we can then acquire equal mind-ness.

 

Bhagavan explains that while all the people have problems, these

problems are temporary, like passing clouds and don't stay with us

for long.

 

Every problem has to lesson to teach. Any suffering has a message to

convey. All this is a process of self-evolution, stage by stage, like

graduating from one examination to the next.

 

Those, which we consider as difficulties, are but steps towards

ultimate spiritual evolution.

be separated from other
