Guest guest
Purpose of Wealth What is the object of wealth? Wealth is truly meant for cultivating righteousness (dharma), which alone has the power to lead man to right knowledge. By gaining right knowledge man develops fondness for the supreme Truth. And this, in turn, gains for him peace and freedom. Instead of employing the wealth thus for ensuring peace and welfare for oneself and the others, if any one spends it solely on his own house and bodily relations, alas, he remains utterly deluded. " Such a one fails to see the powerful hands of impending death, " warns Sukadeva in Sreemad Bhaagavatam.
