Knowledge and Devotion

Sutra 28:

Tasya jnanameva sadhana-mityeke

In the view of some, knowledge (of the object loved) alone is the

means to attain (devotion).

Sutra 29:

Anyonyasrayatvamityanye.

Others are of opinion that there is mutual dependence between

knowledge and devotion.

Sutra 30:

Svayam phalarupateti brahma-kumarah

Bhakti is its own fruit -- thus opines Brahmakumara (Narada), the son

of Brahman.
