Guest guest
Dear friends and devotees, Bhakti is eternal. I am forwarding the message received by me, which will be informative to you also. Unfortunately, there is no facility to enclose photos in our forum. Any further messages, with regard to Homa etc of the Sahasra Chandra Darsana Santhi at Puttaparti, will be forwarded for information. With love and regards, Sastry Om Sairam Dear sai Familly, the atmosphere is totally DIVINE in the Abode of our beloved Lord, who (the body) will be turning 83 in less than week's time.. The much awaited Sahasra Poorna Chandra Darshana Shanti Mahotsvam (SPCDSM)will be celebrated tomorrow in the Hill view stadium, Puttaparthi, in the immediate presence of Swami. This is not a very normal happening..It is a divine happening. In Hindu dharma, any person who has lived 83 years celebrate this kind of Yagna to commomerate witnessing of 1000 full moons in their life. But here, The PERSON who is turning 83 is not just a PERSON, He is our almighty, compassionate Lord, who has come all the way to this earth, to mingle with His creation, to teach Dharma to His creation and to let His creation know the reason for our coming to this Holy earth and being born as Human beings.. The Hindu dharma also says, any person witnessing this kind of Yagna, if you just see the person it is enough and I really can't tell how fortunate those thousands who will be here in Puttaparthi to witness the SPCDSM of Lord of the Lord Himself. More than 200 priests from all parts of the world, (there are some preists from New york as well) to take part in this holy event which is undertaken under the able leadership of Sri.Adi Kesavulu Naidu, an ardent devotee of Swami and presently the chairman of Tirumala Tirupathi Devastanam. Interestingly there are many preists who have served in the sanctum sanctorium of the most famous Tirumala Venkateswara Temple thus making this event more divine and spiritually recharging. We can see the Tirupathi style in the arches (photo enclosed) which tells about the yagna which is conducted for world peace. The stadium is beautifully decorated with flags of all countries all around the stadium and there are about 12 yagna kundas placed on the stage and that's where the yagna will take place. Stringest security arrangements are taken to see that devotees don't face any kind of trouble and above all Swami made many personal visits to the stadium to see that every thing is in place.. I remember the song in the oscar nominated movie LAGAAN when the poor villagers sing the song to Lord Krishna to help them to win the cricket match against the britishers..The line which says " Chandamein too hi to bhari hain chandini, suraj mein ujiyara tumhi sey...(you are the one who has FILLED THE LIGHT IN THE MOON, the sun shines brightly because of you)... for that Lord, witnessing of 1000 full moons doesn't have any significance but it is our GOOD FORTUNE that He has allowed us to conduct and witness this kind of RARE HAPPENING in the history of Man kind and it is no doubt to ignite the GOD within us and reminding us to be more good and aim to merge in Him and not diassappoint Him.. Dear brothers and sisters, those who can make it here physically, and those who will STILL be here inspite of PHYSICAL absence.. I sent all the Love, Light and Happiness.. May you all be blessed with a spiritually uplifting and successful life... There are news that the Live telecast of the Yagna will be aired in SVBC (Sri Venkateswara Bhakthi Channel) a new and less famous TV channel owned by the Tirumala Tirupathi Trust. This is a free to air channel and those who have DTH serivice can have easy access and witness the happenings live from Puttaparthi... With tons of Love Satish Naik from Puttaparthi..
