Sri upasana , sri vidya upasana, varabramhopasana ,  brahmopasana are all one

and the same .''OH SATH CHITH EKAM BRAHMA ''Master E.K told us''What is there in

mantra sastram that is there in brahma vidya and he tells that brahma vidya is

sri vidya .Sri upasana is brahma upasana.Ultimately leading brahma upasana are

realizing brahma .It is like imagining the mother with all her virtues and

pleasant form .

 

This mother is worshipped in different forms- as sarswathi, in education, as a

kaveri -- in attaining wealth ,as varahi in attaining eternal bliss, as

vishanvi- in attain moksha, as Indrani, the embodiment of energy .Different

types of upasana are their for worshipping Mother. In that [ dasa maha vidya ]

are important vidyallu  These are in ten different forms. The person who is

worshiping Mother in  particular form  mother will appear to him in that form   

Just like an individual appears to be boss in office, as a father to his son, as

husband to his wife , as an ordinary person for others, the singal individual in

spite of being the same is seen as in different forms only feelings will be

changed   as a daughter her feelings will be different, as mother ,as wife , as

boss her feelings will be changing but person is the same .

 

I n the same way the antharyaami   who is parabrahma , sridevi upasana  are

worshipped in different forms .Out of all these forms of worshiping of Mother

,worshiping lalitha is considered more poious and in mantras Gayatri mantra is

powerfull ,In Lalitha upasana elders   tells  that every thing will be achieved.

 

            Sri suktham relates to worshiping goddess  lalitha devi as sri

suktham  mantras ar e their in lalitha shahasra namam .In lalitha upasana these

15 ruks   were given.If we read sri suktham 15 ruks , purusha suktham 15 ruks as

one    that is    said to be srinivasa vidya.Who ever do this srinivas

vidya,there wish will be completed and crores of money will be at there door

steps

 

           Sri devi means, the origin .Sri mantra and its meaning of it

bijjashkaraa roopam,chihnamu, lakshanamu .These is in the form of lakshmi with

all her full form of lakshanas .Sri means Mother of gathering ,seeing of

gathering,means seeing and collectively  every thing around .

 

          The people who want to gathere around them they will do srinivas 

vidya and worship sri bijja .In this upasana seven chakras and their activation

and so many steps and discipline of sadhana will be there

 

    Every ruk in  sri suktham  has seven different meanings out of which 3 

meanings.The fourth meaning is to be attained threw dyaana and 5th and 6th threw

guru [ teacher] .It is also has a practical aspect or application

 

       In sri suktham the first ruk    :

 

                                

Hiranyavarnaa harineem suvarna rajaathastrajam,

Chandraam hiranmayeem jatha vedo ma aavaha.

 

It means Mother wearing gold and silver and silver whitish in colour.  When we

worship   Mother goddess with a particular upasana.It is said that our face will

also becomes like Mother .So when we worship lalitha devi in these form .we

imagine her to be the most beautiful with all her ornaments and with pleasant

smile.Again this Mother is worshipped in two forms_bala , syamala  Those who

worship in the form of bala imagine her in the age if 5 or 6 yrs and those who

worship in the form of syamala to be of the age of above   sixteen  years

 

      The rishi prays in the first ruk:

 

 bring the most beautiful mother with all ornaments

 

first we have to know who is jataveda?

 

The word jataveda as it appeared with in first ruk means

 

The person who born out of veda or who created Vedas .What we speak is

considered as to be ruk ,  what we  do is yajus     what we breath is samaveda

and application of all the three is adarvana

 

All these four forms are well with in us .They continuously manifest in us.With

these manifestation we worship  virat purusha and the Mother  through reciting

Vedas.W e are in deed worshiping the virat pursha and Mother  but we need a

communicator who carries our messages to virat purusha or goddess Mother __just

like we need a telephone  to communicate  with others.Agni is the

communicator.What ever we are throw to agni it is converted into basic five

elements_prithivi ,vayu , water  , agni  ,sky and they are carried to respect

Vedas lokas that is why the god agni is worshipped to carry our messages

                      

A word for the fire created in the homa ceremony. It means ''that which has been

produced which informs''At the homa ceremony the fire was produced by kindling.

The relationship of the hotr or the offerer then was that of one on the

receiving end of knowledge. The knowledge accompanied by the use and expression

of relvant mantras.It aslo involved the use of proper ingredients for offering

into the fire

 

hiranya - Has a variety of meaning namely gold, golden,golden.glowing and also

means substance.

 

candra  - Means moon and also pleasing .

 

lakshmi  -  That which makes a mark '' It also means auspiciousness as the

divine power and the tangible forms of it such as wealth/ progress / prosperity

/ fullness / resources.

 

surya aditya - These terms refer to the sun.They also mean beautiful and

blazing.

 

padma  -''Born from earth'' .It could refer to the lotus flower .It also refers

to the pure gold coin with the same name. It means the chakra in the human body.

It can mean the ritual design or mandalam.
