Guest guest
THE RIG VEDA: INDIA'S OLDEST SCRIPTURE, 2,000 B.C. Translated by Ralph T.H. Griffith E.J. Lazarus & Co., Benares, 1897 RE: THE VEDIC SOMA PAVAMANA IS SHIVAMBU RE: SHIVAMBU TANTRA IN THE SASTRA OF MANY RELIGIONS Abridged and edited with commentaries by Sw. Tantrasangha http://www.salvationscience.com As far as I know, this is the oldest scripture east of Mesopotamia. These are poems written in praise of Tantra, for those who already had the Gnosis of Rasa Tantra Sadhana. This is the oldest of the four Vedas. The Sama Veda and the two rescensions of the Yajur Veda - the black and white or Krishna and Shukra - are apparently copies of the Rig Veda, similar to how the Gospels of Mark and Luke are really only two different rescensions of Matthew's original gospel. I once read that the author of the Rig Veda studied under Zarathustra, which might explain some similarities of the Rig Veda with the Zend-Avesta, in which the vedic " Soma " is " Homa " . Some say that the original writings of Zarathustra were destroyed by Alexander (the Great?), and that the present Zend-Avesta was a vain attempt to retrieve it from memory. Therefore, the Rig Veda might be the best account of Zarathustra's teachings. Zarathustra taught that we are like a peanut (seed), which, when given the right air, water, sunshine, and food (earth), will sprout. The Rig, Sama, and Yajur Vedas are almost exclusively about the Engendering qualities of Soma, and the Agni ( Kundalini Shakti, Holy Spirit, literally fire) it activates. Like John the Baptist said: " I Baptize you with water, but one comes after me who will baptize you with fire. " In other words, as Jesus said: " Ye must be Born Again of water and Spirit " and its Siddhis, such as Inner Sight and Sound (God). The Atharva Veda, considered to be the " medical veda " , was written later than the original three vedas (four if you include the two rescensions of the Yajur Veda), and is quite different in content. In many languages, " Na " , means water or pertaining to water, and " Ma " means mother or pertaining to her. Can it be that the Biblical " Manna from Heaven " , whereby Moses fed the starving in the desert, was, in fact, Soma Pavamana? Jai Om. - Sw. Tantrasangha ------------------- BOOK IX - SOMA PAVAMANA (MOON PURE MOTHER-WATER, MANNA) 1. Thy Soma that is flowing forth... The virgins send him forth: they blow the skin, musician-like, and fuse the triple (Trinity) foe- repelling meath (literally honey-wine). II. The Sage drew waters to himself. The lake is brightened in the floods. Soma, primeval soul of sacrifice... IV. The steer-strong juice with milk pour forth. (Male Tanrics are compared to steers. Jesus called them " eunuchs for God's sake " . I prefer other comparisons.) VIII. When, through the filter, thou art poured, we clothe thee with a robe of milk to be a gladdening draught for gods. IX. He, the bright Son, when Born Illumined, his parents who had sprung to life, great Son, great Strengtheners of Law... XI. Pour the sweet milk into the meath. Blend the libation. (The bioplasma should be an equal combination of male and female.) XII. The Tree whose praises never fail, yields heavenly milk. (This is the Tree of Life, whose " leaf never falls " . The Book of Mormon reports that the world will laugh at those who approach this " Tree of Life " , thus causing many aspirants to fail.) XIV. Reposing on the river's wave, the Sage (a personalization of Soma) hath widely flowed around, making the milk, as it were, his robe, (having made the woman's bioplasma his own). XV. With strength, we follow through the sieve (body), him who brings might and wins the kine (Shakti Ma), enrobed (as Bioplasma) in water with his juice. XVIII. The meath (literally honey-wine) is (an Engendering) Offspring of thy sap (seed, Grenetic Efflux). Who milketh out this mighty Pair (man and woman), the Earth and Heaven (two dimensions - one inner, the other outer), like mother kine (female cows)... ...Who in a moment mightily floweth around these two world- halves (man and woman, joined as one in the water)... XIX. ...The mothers of the darling Son. Hath he not purified and Impregnated (the Re-Conceived, Genetic Rejuvenation) the kine (Shakti Ma's) who long to meet their Lord, the kine (women), who yield the shining milk? (For revenge on hellish Samsara, " take it out in kine " .) XX. He, Soma, like a courser in the floods, invincible, made clean with hands, is resting in the jars (bodies, as Bioplasma, which will activate Siddhis). XXVIII. This Soma, being purified, flows mighty and infallible, slayer of sinners, dear to Gods. (This " blood of Christ " is for the remission of sins - the Christian BLOOD AT-ONE-MENT). XXXI. For thee, brown-hued (urine), the kine (women) have poured imperishable oil and milk. XXXIII. With streams of sacrifice, the brown bright drops have flowed, with strength in store of kine, into the vats (bodies). XXXVII. Soma, the steer, effused for a draught, flows to the purifying sieve, slaying the fiends, loving the Gods. (Pavamana usually means " pure food " , so the body actually purifies food, so that urine is purer each time it is recycled! Therefore the body is seen as the maker of its own purified food, acting like water, passing through a sieve, fleece or filter, for a purer " Manna " .) XLII. Engendering the Son (Resurrection) in floods (like Noah's Ark), ENGENDERING HEAVEN'S LIGHTS...robed in the water and the milk, according to a Primeval Plan (eternal TantraDharma), this Soma, with his stream effused, flows purely on, a God for Gods. Shedding the ancient (sacrificial) fluid, he (his Bioplasma) is poured into the cleansing sieve: He (SOMA), thundering, hath PRODUCED (Engendered) the (genetically rejuvenated) GODS! LVI. Swift to the purifying sieve (body) flows Soma as exalted Law. (This is the Eternal, Sacred Tantra SanatanaDharma, for the remission or forgiveness of sins and attainment of immortal bliss.) LXI. Red-hued (male, sun), be blended with the female milk - falcon (Horus) - like. (Usually, red signifies female menstruum or Rajas, also meaning " king " , and white signifies male sperm or Shukra, meaning both white and sperm. Phoenicia gets its name from the immortal Phoenix falcon, which is Reborn in fire every 500 years. The Quetzal in Quetzalcoatl, meaning the " feathered water-serpent " has similar significance. The Egyptian Pharaoh had a snake and a falcon on his crown.) LXII. Hawk-like (as the Egyptian Horus), he settles in his home. Fair is the God-loved juice; the (Soma) plant is washed in waters, pressed (like wine) by men: The milch-kine sweeten it with milk. As giving room and freedom, as most sweet, pour butter (a fasting supplement) forth and milk... The juice here present is effused, made beautiful by living men. Pressed (like wine), as it were, hath Soma Pavamana sped, to rest with might within the vats (bodies). Drive ye that tawny (brown urine) courser (throughout the body), O ye (wine) pressers. (See the Biblical " New Wine " .) Indu (Hindu), the living men milk out thy juice to make the rapturous draught. Gods for the Gods milk out the meath. LXIII. Brown Soma drops...like Surya (the Sun), floweth on his Way. Soma Pavamana, thou pourest out wealth that brings renown: Enter the lake (of AdvaitAmrita - the Ambrosia of non-duality), as one we love. LXIV. Flow onward with a stream for food, made beautiful by sapient men... Poured, tawny (yellow or brown from the bile in urine) one on milk and curds (yogurt, a fasting supplement). Bright are these Somas (urines), blent with (mother's) milk, with (inner) Light, that flashes brilliantly and forms (patterns) that utter loud acclaim (are a desirable state of Higher Consciousness). LXV. Sing to Soma Pavamana, (praising) the yellow (bile-colored) meath-distilling (as in Alchemy) juice (urine). Pour out the abundant food: Soma, be thou our prosperer. The pitchers, Indu (Hindu), with thy streams, have sung aloud in vigorous might (strength and health): Enter them and let Indra (man at-one with God) drink. LXVI. The streams of (mother's) milk pour forth to thee. They have been poured upon the fleece (filter), toward the meath-distilling vat (body). Like Milch-kine coming home, the drops of Soma juice have reached the lake (bioplasma), have reached the (inner, physical) place of sacrifice (the Bioplasma of Tantra Sadhana). Indu (Hindu), to our great delight, the running waters flow to us, when thou wilt robe thyself in milk. Soma, as Sura (the " male liquor " , also Ahura in the Zand-Avesta), bring us food, win us Offspring (Regeneration). He, Pavamana, hath produced the lofty Law, to brilliant (inner) Light, destroying the (inner) darkness (of those without Kundalini Shakti). May Pavamana (pure food, mother-water of one's Shakti Ma, from the writer's male perspective), best to win the prize (of Salvation), penetrate (inner vision) with rays (of Inner Light), giving the singer hero strength. Over the (golden) fleecy sieve (the body which makes pure food) hath flowed the drop effused: To Indra (God) comes Indu (the Hindu) while he is purified (by attaining an Androgynous Bioplasma, like Hermes and Aphrodite, who joined in a lake, and gave Birth to the God, Hermaphrodite, not to be confused with circus side-shows, but of Androgynous Bioplasma). O Pavamana, bless us, so that we may live, with that bright milk of thine, which hath been brought from Heaven (within us, the Biblical " Manna from Heaven " ). http://www.salvationscience.com ********************************************************
