Guest guest
Adi Sankaracharya's works dealing with philosophy of Advaita fall into two groups: one consisting of Prasthanatraya and the other more systematic manuals known as Prakaranas. These prakarana texts exhibit the truths of Vedanta in a well-defined and unambiguous manner. The Mohamudgara, popularly known as Bhajagovinda Slokalu, as its name implies, contains the quintessence of Upanishadic wisdom in which Advaita philosophy is expounded in poetic form. Each slokam deals with one or other of the main problems of metaphysics from the advaita standpoint. In Mohamudgara, Sankarabhagavadpada addresses us as 'moodhamate'or ignorant since everyone at some level is stupid, is helpless and this recognition helps us to act wisely. As life is a combination of ignorance and knowledge, it needs fine-tuning with humility and understanding. This helps one to identify with essential nature to distinguish the non-dual Brahman from the world of plurality. A very poignant and candid discourse 'Bhajagovindam' paves path for excellent living and personality development, the pinacle of which is Kaivalyam of Moksham. I request you to listen to Mohamudgara in this auspicious Margasiramasam. http://www.archive.org/search.php?query=dr.anjaneyulu%20goli% 20AND%20collection%3Aopensource_audio.
