Sairam

Usually one feels happy to inform about any book, group, write up, blog

or any article too regarding our Sadguru Sai Baba.

Here with a heavy heart I inform my Sai sisters and brothers about a

blog created to save heritage of our Shirdi.

With modernization and in an effort to create more amenities for the

devotees visiting, we are seeing Shirdi transformed into concrete

structures. How happy we would have felt had we been able to see

Sathewada, Dixitwada, Samadhimandir, houses of devotees and the streets

Sai walked as they where when Baba walked on that Shirdi soil. Now we

try to visualize keeping in mind whatever little is left of the old

times. Why can we not make an effort to save our beloved Babas home.

There are many places in the world where the citizens are giving

importance to the original forms, buildings are restored and not totally

demolished and constructed again. Today being Thursday 'Babas' day I

request all of you to react and make our effort worthwhile in restoring

whatever little is left of the soil where Baba walked.

Through this blog Heritage Shirdi

Let us all come together and travel back to the period few had the

opportunity to. Just like Baba picked the old woman from the crowd and

asked Shama to bring her to Him let us hope that this little effort on

our part is heard by the Shirdi Sansthan for they have the fortune to

manage Babas home and the soil which belonged to the Sadguru and still

belongs

Here in this blog we will discuss how we can contribute our might to

save the old Shirdi and also share old photos, memories and we will also

try and create awareness among devotees visiting Shirdi to maintain a

clean and safe environment and also impress upon Shirdi Sansthan not to

compromise on the heritage while creating better facilities for the

devotees.

With regards

Leeladhar V.V.
