Guest guest
In the Middle Too There is Only Paramatma In Srimad Bhaagavad Bhagavaan has said - " Ayum hi sarvakalpaanaam, saheenchee no mato mama madbhaavah sarvabhooteshu manovaakaayavruttib hih (Srimad Bhaagavad 11:29:19) " However many spiritual disciplines that are there for attaining Me, of them all, the best discipline that I understand to be is that through one's mind, speech and body, the behavior and sentiments should be of Me alone. " Upanishads have given three examples to help understand this point - Gold, Iron and Earth (soil). Just like there can be various oranaments made of gold. In spite of their shape, name, form, weight, usefulness, price, etc. being quite different, it is gold only. Like out of iron there can be various different weapons, arms, tools, but the iron is one and the same. Just like out of earth (soil) one can make many different types of earthen pots, but the earth is the same, similarly in this world that is manifested from God, there are various different types of beings, creatures and things, but though being many, in them Paramatma is only one. The jewels that are made from gold, the gold is visible and evident and so is the iron in the weapons and arms and the earth in the earthen pots, but in the world that manifests from Paramatma, Paramatma is not visibly seen. Therefore everything is only Paramatma - to understand this point the example of a wheat field is given. The farmers call the green fields where wheat is planted, as wheat fields. If the plants are eaten by some animals, the farmer says my wheat was eaten away, even though there is not a single grain of wheat that was eaten! Even though in the fields there is not a single grain that is to be seen in any of the plants, but it is wheat - of this the farmer does not have the slightest bit of doubt. If there is a trader in the market, he will not consider the plant as wheat. He will say this is only a plant, how is it wheat? I have bought and sold many many bags of wheat, I understand what wheat looks like. But the farmers says this in not just any ordinary plant that animals eat, this is wheat. Because in the beginning in the form of a seed it was wheat, in the end at the time of harvest it will be wheat, therefore in the middle even though not seen in the plant, it is only wheat. That is in the middle, in the form of fields too, it is only wheat. That which is in the beginning and in the end, is in the middle as well. This is the principle.
