Guest guest
Hii all positivity- meaning of life and motivation were posted and activity was aslo given .. now coming to The sunny side The sunny side :- People often look at the gloomy side of the picture. What does it do ? It brings more gloominess into there lives. Start looking at the brighter side of things. Suresh joined a computer course. He made friends with the other student quickly. However,he disliked Ravi as the latter was a loud mouth and brusque. He avoided him.One day when he was in the class,Suresh received a phone call from his house. His father suffered a heart attack. Suresh was worried. He took permission and hurried ran out on to the street to catch an auto. Some one called him from behind. It was Ravi.He offered a lift to Suresh. He stayed with Suresh for an hour at hospital and left only when the doctor said that the patient was out of danger.Suresh felt sorry for disliking Ravi for his boisterous behaviour. He understood that Ravi was good by nature. Why do we jump to conclusions on meeting a person? Why do we want to classify him as good or bad, lovable or not,a friend or a foe ? There is nothing in this world which is either pure black or pure white.Every thing is on a grey scale only. We have to accept people as they are.We have to allow a situation to be as it is.The attitude 'he-should-behave-like- this' or 'it- should-be-like- this' taken us nowhere Most importantly try to ignore the defects in the others, and concentrate on the good points He smokes, which you don't like. But he sings well.Remember his face as singing your favourite song, and not as smoking a cigarette. Write about the positive qualities in your friends and relatives. Write about the good qualities you have found in the people around you-- the watch man, milk boy, auto driver, uncle on 2 nd floor, aunty on 5 th floor etc. ''Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year'' \ -Ralph Waldo Emerson. ''Tis always morning some where in the world'' \ -Richard Henry Horne. courtesy-MIHIRA Regards Bharathi.A
