13th Jan 09: Day-2

 

Vaishnava Janato - Attributes of devotees (First Canto) The Story begins…

Bhagavatham takes off from the culmination of Mahabharaata war. The great

qualities of the people who knew ‘love’ is shown through the characters of

Narada Muni, Kunti Devi, Bheesmacharya, Arjuna and other ancestors of King

Parikshith.

 

14th Jan 09: Day-3

 

The Purpose of Life (First /Second Cantos)

A great self realized soul, none other than the son of Sage Veda Vyasji

discusses this vital question with King Parikshith who is running out of time!

The simplicity of the answer is truly stunning!!

 

15th Jan 09: Day-4

 

The Child-like Love to the Lord (Canto 4 / Canto 7) To some who may think

devotion to be a ‘retirement plan’, Bhagavatham clarifies that you are never too

young for Bhakthi through the life stories of Dhruva and Prahlada Maharaj.

Bhagavatha Dharma revealed by the Lord himself. Chanting and Prayer to be a

Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi’s ‘Upadesa Saara’ in English

 

12th Jan - 18th Jan ‘09 Morning session: 7 AM to 8 AM

 

This lecture covers the Essential Instructions for the earnest seeker which

covers broadly the popular paths towards realization, culminating in the ‘Direct

Path’ revealed by Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi.

 

About the speaker:

 

M.K.Ramanujamji is a disciple of His Holiness Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji and

inspired by Swamiji is associated with Spiritual lecturing and service for past

15 years.

 

He quit his Engineering Management Career in 2006 and has devoted full time to

lecturing and spreading the Bhagavatha Dharma all over the world.

 

He has lectured on Srimad Bhagavatham and the message of our Scriptures to many

audiences- young and old, home makers and professionals, rural and urban.

 

In this series he shall explore into the beautiful timeless truths of Srimad

Bhagavatham and Upadesa Saaram.
