Guest guest
" kaalha kalayatamaham " - 'Among reckoners, I am Time ' asserts Bhagavaan in Bhagavadgita. Lord Kala Bhairava is one of the eight manifestations of Lord Siva. Hymns on Kalabhairava highlight a truth : 'Time is most precious. Time lost is lost for ever. Wise people should use every movement of time effectively. Lord Kala Bhairava helps everyone to make one's time useful'. We are aware that our life is space in between date of birth and date of death and hence one should remember that time is life which can't be misused in quest of personality development and excellence, the ultimate of which is liberation or kaivalyam. Kalabhairava is worshiped as kshetrapala, the guardian deity of a temple. The temple's keys are ceremonially placed at his feet after closing the doors and taken back with his permission for opening the doors. We celebrate Kalabhairava Ashtami as festival. In the kalabhairava temples at Varanasi, Tiruvannamalai and many other places also, special pujas are performed on this day. The Sun god projects the rays of Kala Chakra to depict the march of time and icon of Kala Bhairava. I request you to listen to Kala Bhairavastkam and Aditya Hrudayam on this Radhasaptami day and during this auspicious month of Magham for peace and bliss. http://www.archive.org/search.php?query=dr.anjaneyulu%20goli%20AND%20collection%\ 3Aopensource_audio
