Guest guest
Sai Ram. Your doubt is appreciated. Having internet and Gita at several places on it is no guarantee that those who need will access it and will read it and will understand correctly. The same information had to be given again and again several times earlier too, for example by Sage Vasishtha to Sri Rama, Sage Ashtavakra to King Janaka and so on. Sri Krishna was referring to the delusions of the ego when He was referring to the lineage being broken. Sri Arjuna also studied the Vedas and presumably would have studied the Upanishads too, but He forgot the principle of non-duality and the identity of the Jeevatma and the Paramatma. So, Sri Krishna had to refresh Sri Arjuna's memory. In Kali Yuga, a majority of people will not be interested in knowing this knowledge and even those who know will stray from the path because the mind goes astray. To: Wednesday, February 11, 2009, 9:30 PM Hi, Can any one please answer my doubt which i have got recently please? Lord Sri Krishna in Gita says that parampara of Gita is broken and hence he again tells to Arjuna about Gita. My Question: Now we have internet and hence there is no chance of parampara to be broken as it is stored in infinite sites and books. Does this mean we are in advanced civilization and if yes then why people say kali yuga is horrible and people in kali yuga are degrading.
