Guest guest
Love Question: Jeev (embodied soul) has love / attraction for Bhagwaan, but how is Bhagwaan (God) having love/attraction towards Jeev? Answer: The love/attraction is in both Bhagwaan and Jeev (Embodied Soul), but oversight is only in Jeev, not in Bhagwaan. Just like a child does not see mother's love, similarly due to attraction for the world, man cannot see Bhagwaan's love (attraction) . If man could see (was able to recognize) Bhagwaan's love, then he would have no attraction for the world. Bhagwaan says - " sab mama priye sab mama upajaaye " (Manasa. Uttar. 86:2). It is Bhagwaan's love alone that draws Jeev towards Bhagwaan, whereby no situation ever remains the same at all times. Question: Before attaining Eternal Love, is it essential to attain liberation (mukti, salvation)? Answer: In the Path of Knowledge (jnana maarg), after liberation, love manifests, whereas in the Path of Devotion (Bhakti maarg), after love manifests, one attains salvation. Love is predominant from the very beginning among all beings, but due to attraction and passion for the world, love does not manifest. The extent to which the passion for the world diminishes, with satsang (association of Truth) that much the love for Bhagwaan manifests. And the extent to which love for Bhagwaan manifests, that much passion for the world diminishes. In reality, it is only the great souls that are liberated that are eligible for Love. One can also love before being liberated, but that is not true love. Yes, for a sadhak that is very helpful. True love only happens after one is liberated. Before salvation the belief is " Mein Bhagwaan ka hoon " " I am God's " , but after salvation, the belief does not remain, rather it is experienced. Question: Why did Bhagwaan, take on the form of woman and man (Radha-Krishna) as part of His Divine Play, ? Two friends also could have love between each other! Answer: The greatest passion and attraction in the world, is between a man and a woman only. Therefore, let the passion be like that of a man and a woman, but let there be not the least bit of desire for seeking enjoyment. It is to make worldly people understand this point Bhagwaan has taken on the form of Radha - Krishna. He whose eyes see the difference between man and a woman, that one cannot understand the play of divine love (prem-lila) of Radha and Krishna. To correctly understand this love the sadhak should see to it that the sentiments of a man-woman do not remain. Understanding of such sentiments becomes difficult due to desire for pleasure. He who has even the slightest bit of attraction for pleasure, that one cannot understand the essence of Love. Therefore only a liberated soul can properly understand such sentiments.
