Vishnu Sahsranamavali project has started on December 20 , 2008 on the occassion

of 90th Anniversary of Shirdi Saibaba. It drew inspiration from Sai Baba giving

Vishnu Sahasranamavali to Shyama in Satcharitra. The idea is to give 1 million

Vishnu Sahasranamavali to devotees preferably Sai Devotees. Programme has

started around December 20 in Toronto Canada for distributing Vishnu

Sahsranamavali books in India.

By today around 3,00,000 copies have already been distributed including around

1,30,000 copies in Sai Mandirs in Hyderabad. Approvals have come for additional

2,00,000 copies from various mandirs, associations in India. Apart from that

open approvals for distribution have come from Tirupathi and Shiridi. You can

join this noble cause by donating books to various temples in your native place

either directly or through your family members. Alternatively you can donate

Vishnusahasranamavali books to the places where approvals have already been

obtained. Another option is to donate books to holy places like Tirupathi and

Shiridi. You can also volunteer by spreading this program. It costs Rupees 5220

to donate 6400 copies and 2700 rupees to donate 3200 copies.
