Guest guest
When we do vratam or pooja we place a kalasam and first offer our pooja to it. This kalasa pooja has some symbolic representation. Our Rishis and maharishis arranged all these keeping in their mind that some day or other man shall think of all these and start his spiritual sadhana. The kalasam represents our body and the water we place in it is the Brahma. We keep five leaves over it that represents the five pranas [prana, apana, vyana, vudana and samana] in our body .Dhoop sticks and sandal paste represent the the sugandha that a sadhaka experiance during deep meditation. Blowing of conch and bell sounds can be heared when apanavayu joins the prana vayu in Anahatha. In fact a yogi can hear 10 varities of sounds as he advances in his sadhana. kumari Add more friends to your messenger and enjoy!
