          There are many beginnings of the year the humanity is

following, which are not scientific like January 1st, the westerners even had

there beginning in March, if we count September (Sapta) 7th Month, October

(Octa) 8th month exist. Later they have changed the year by adding Julies

creaser and Augusts creaser now in the present calendar and they have changed

the calendar which is neither scientific nor astronomical.

The real beginning of the year is astronomical event that takes place in heaven

after the new moon in the month of Chaitra. Chaitra, and Vaisakha are called

Madhu and Madhava from times immemorial .Madhu is a Masa (Month) which

inaugurates New Year where kukus sing and springs starts, and all the nature is

regenerated with flora and fauna. The first day of New Year in the month of

Chaitra is Ugadi.

‘Yuga’adi a cycle of new beginning around this time the sun cuts the equator

and enters the sign Aries where day is equal to night this is called vernal

equinox a beginning made with auspicious oblation keeps this year prosperous,

peaceful and tranquil, Ugadi inaugurates such year brings you prosperity, today

is Ugadi brings prosperity those who put ears to hear Panchanga on this day will

be removed with all evil.
