COSMOS

 

You are the mirror in which

the whole cosmos is reflected.

How can mirror complain

of the dancing things seen in it?

 

COMFORT

 

Comfort comes as guest,

lingers to become host

and stays to ENSLAVE us.

 

CONTENTMENT

 

Contentment in anything

that reaches him accidentally,

unasked and unexpected

should be the motto

of all serious seekers

of inward growth.

 

CONTEMPLATION

 

Constant contemplation

upon sense-objects

is the cause for bondage.

 

CREATION

 

Indeed, even the austere sanyasins

are susceptible

to the beauty of the creation.

 

CRITICISM

 

Indeed, criticism is like

a boundless sea.

Once you get into it,

you can hardly get out of it.
