Guest guest
CULTURE Culture expresses itself in thoughts, words and deeds. The culture of a people must continuously serve them, nourishing their aspiration, guiding their action and providing consoltaiton and comfort, belance and equanimity, in both their joys and sorrows. DEATH Continuous change is the nature of finitude; it is this change that we understand as death. Death connotes not only the condition of the body when life has ebbed out from it, but includes the very principle of change and finitude. DESIRE The inward tremors are experienced only when any burning desire has conquered us completely Desire is at the root of all actions, good or evil Conquest of desire is Kaivalya -- the highest goal of man. Desire is called sinful, since, in its grosser expressions, it makes us live and work satisfying our lower nature. It thus results in our living the life of a lower level of evolution. Desires are never quenched by enjoyment. It rather inflames them, as clarified butter does fire.
