ENERGY

 

To dissipate our energies

through the sense-organs

is the vulgar hobby

of the thoughtless mortal.

 

ENJOYMENT

 

If enjoyment is the body,

suffering is its head.

The fewer one's possessions,

the greater are one's enjoyment

and freedom

 

EQUANIMITY

Equanimity in the face of

Life's challenges must flow out,

not from the dark cagaes,

of one's inertia and stupidity;

it must gurgle out

from one's own wisdom

and understanding.

 

EVOLUTION

Evolution is not an accident.

It is a logical development

and has its stages.

 

Running away from life

is not the way

to reach the highest goal

of evolution.
