Guest guest
Radhe Krishna To all, Matsya Avatar (as Fish) is the most significant of all His ten prominent Avatars. A Pandya king found Him on the banks of River Vaigai. The Puranas tell us that the Lord grew into a colossal form and protected the Vedas. Thus the very first Avatar of the Lord took place on the banks of River Vaigai, in Pandya kingdom, in the southern parts of the country. Puranas like the Bhavishya purana subtly predict that the last Avatar of the Lord, Kalki Avatar, would take place in the home of a Brahmin couple on the banks of River Tamraparani in Tirunelveli in the South. We know not the exact time of occurrence – five thousand or ten thousand years later. Though even now we all speak of Kali (yuga) as the worst Yuga we are still only in its infant stage! One knows not the wickedness of a full grown Kali. 'God would, at that time, in full fury incarnate and destroy the world,' so say the Shastras. Thus, the south enjoys the glory of the Lord's first incarnation on the banks of River Vaigai and is also going to enjoy the glory of the Lord’s last incarnation as Kalki on the banks of River Tamraparani. Where did the Avatar of the Lord as Rama take place? It was in Ayodhya. Krishna Avatar took place in Mathura. Both these places are in the Northern part of the country. Why did the Lord not choose the South while taking these Avatars? God did nurture this desire, but, around 80 or more of the 108 Divya Desams are situated only in what is today known as the state of Tamizh Nadu, in the south. A few are in Kerala, Badari, Ayodhya, etc. To strike a cosmic balance the Lord took Rama-Krisna Avatars in the North. If all His Avatars were in the south the earth would have lost her balance. Since the south was blessed with majority of His 'Archavatars', God decided to have His 'Vichada-avatars' as Rama and Krishna in the North. What is the greatness of this country? Verily the 'Archavatars'! - the Lord remaining in the form of icons. Well! What was the first 'Archavatar' of God? Verily Tirupati Lord Srinivasa! This is verily God's first 'Archavatar' on earth. The Vedas speak of only two Temples and their Deities – one is Puri Jagannath and the other is Tirupati Srinivasa. !!! Will Continue !!! The song glorifies the greatness of Rama Nama through kirtan.enjoy the You tube...       Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji's Composition : Regards Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare ----------------------- If you have any questions or doubts concerning Spirituality, Mental peace or problems in life or about dharma, please write to us by clicking here: http://www.namadwaar.org/answers/askquestion.php        His Holiness Sri Sri Swamiji personally answers these questions for you and suggests prayers. ---------------------------
