Guest guest
Radhe Krishna To all, Let us see how Mahans have 'eka hrudaya': how Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and Sri Ramanuja shared the same kind of feeling. Chaitanya Mahaprabhu was forever in the thought of Vrindavan. He had only four things locked up in his heart – Vrindavan, Mahamantram, Srimad Bhagavata parayan and the Yugalam (the divine couple Radha-Krishna).  He would read the Bhagavatam, perform Namasankirtan, meditate on the divine couple Radha-Krishna and think of Vrindavan. He yearned to visit Vrindavan. In those days visiting another place was not quite easy. Today, a visit to a foreign land entails certain procedures. One cannot just walk or fly across. So too, in those days moving from Bengal to Vrindavan was no smooth walk. One had to walk through various kingdoms. It was not easy. Chaitanya Mahaprabhu somehow managed to reach to Vrindavan. He went to Govardan to have darshan of Srinathji. But the moment his eyes held Mount Govardan he could not step on it. Why? - Because he perceived Govardan as verily a Bhagavata (great devotee of the Lord). How did he identify the Govardan as a Bhagavata? When a Bhagavata (Bhakta) hears the name 'Krishna', tears flow down his cheeks like a rivulet. He experiences horripilation and the hair on his body stand erect, as it is cool due to the 'dhyana murti' of God that he holds within. All these are verily 'bhava lakshana' (divine afflatus).  When Chaitanya Mahaprabhu looked at Mount Govardan, the grass, plants and trees seemed like the hair on the body of a Bhakta in horripilation. The rivulets seemed like the gush of tears from the Bhagavata's eyes. Unable to step on Govardan, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu cried out in anguish. Lord Srinathji came down to him. (Today, Srinathji is in Dwaraka). Sri Ramanuja was no less in his 'bhava'. As soon as he saw Tirumala thoughts rose up in waves, one after another. 'Oh, this is verily Aadi sesha who incarnated as Lakshmana when the Lord came down as Rama and as Balarama when the Lord came down as Krishna.' !!! Will Continue !!!
