Drops of Nectar On Love

Love is where there is not even a whiff of desire for one's own

happiness and selfishness.

If you get to know the World, you will develop detachment; and if you

get to know God, then you will develop love for Him.

He whose realization is a certainty, love Him (God); and that whose

separation is inevitable (World), serve it.

The thing that is ours, it appears ever sweet to us. When we accept

Bhagwaan (God) as our very own, our one and only, then love for Bhagwaan

naturally blossoms.

There is no greater worship than loving God.

As long as a spiritual aspirant wants to carry out his own wishes, till then, he

will neither develop love for God with attributes, nor God without attributes.

With austerities one gains power and strength, but not love. Love arises from

the feeling of oneness with God i.e. from treating God as one's very own.

Devotion is when there is immense attraction and pull towards God.

Devotion for God is never completed. It increasingly grows with each

passing day.

For realizing Love, a deep seated sentiment of " mine-ness " (meraapan),

i.e. a feeling that He is my very own is essential. Also a deep longing for

behloding Him (darshan) is required.

Desire and propensity for worldly pleasures, is one of the greatest

obstacles in developing love for God. If one renounces this propensity, then

love for God will naturally arise.

As long as there is attachment to this world, till then there will not

be true love for God. So long as there is attraction for the perishable, till

then, inspite of doing spiritual practices, one will neither be attracted to,

nor experience the true and divine love of the imperishable God.

As soon as attraction for the world is completely gone, divine love for God

arises naturally.

God's love is not attained through sacrifice, penance, charity, fasting,

visiting holy places, rather when there is a deep feeling within, a firm

conviction that Bhagwaan is our very own, then Bhagwaan's (God's) love is easily

attained.

The thing that is ours, it appears ever sweet to us. So, in believing

God as our very own, our one and only, love for God naturally blossoms.

There is no greater worship than loving God.

One can only get strength from austerities, not love. Love is made

possible when there is a feeling that God is my very own (the feeling of

mine-ness with God). That which is my very own, appears ever so sweet to me.

Rather simply by accepting God as our very own, love for God naturally unfolds.

In this world there is both attraction and aversion. But in front of God there

is attraction and attraction only. There is no aversion. If

however, there is a feeling of aversion, then in reality there was no

attraction, no true love in the first place.

God's love makes even the bliss of salvation very dry. A spiritual

aspirant that naturally worships God, who depends on only His grace, is not

satisfied by Salvation. God bestows on such a devotee His divine Love, that is

intoxicating and increasing every moment.

There is no greater worship than loving God.
