Guest guest
Freed from Sorrow and Suffering It is customary that whatever belongs to us, that appears ever sweet and loving to us. Bhagwaan considers all beings as His loved ones. " Sab mama priya sab mama upajaaye " (Manas 7/86/2) and these embodied souls (Jeev) also find Prabhu (God, Bhagwaan) to be naturally loving. Yes, it is a different story that this Jeev has erroneously taken this changing world and body to be it's very own and has become distant from the loving Prabhu (God). Although this Jeev has distant itself, yet Bhagwaan from his side has never given up any Jeev and can never ever give them up. Because this Jeev is veritably a part (ansh) of Bhagwaan. Therefore that feeling of oneness, the feelings of kinship or intimacy, (aatmeeyataah) , is naturally and innately existing, continuously (akshoon), in an undivided manner. In this manner, Bhagwan showers His grace on all beings, i.e. protects His devotees and destroys the evil doers, and established righteousness (Dharma). For these three things, time and again Bhagwaan manifests in the form of an Avataar (physical manifestation of Bhagwaan). In all these three points it is only Bhagwaan's inner feeling of intimacy and kinship that is flowing. What else could be the motive that is being accomplished with these three - the protection of the devotees, the destruction of the evil doers and for the establishment of dharma?. In other words, not a single motive is being accomplished. Bhagwaan is doing all three of these things, only for the Salvation of all Beings. The only thing that is proven by this is Bhagwaan's natural intimacy, kinship, compassion, lovingness, well-wishes, good-heartedness, and impartial generosity. It is only with this view that He tells Arjuna - " Madbhakto bhav, manmanaa bhav, madhyaajee bhav, maam namaskuru " . In all these four verses, Bhagwaan's aim for Jeev (embodied souls) is only to get them to come towards Him, by which all beings can turn away from the unreal objects. Because the main cause of all sorrow, all suffering, the unending birth and death cycle, and all adversities is turning away from Bhagwaan (God). Whatever is ordained by Bhagwaan, it is for the benefit of all of mankind -If all beings fix their sight on this grace, then for them what else will remain to get done? In Bhagwaan's heart there is extreme restlessness and eagerness to see to the spiritual upliftment of all beings. For this reason Bhagwaan reveals the highest secret " Sarvadhamaanparity ajya maamekam sharanam vraj " , because Bhagwaan considers all beings as His friend - " suhrdam sarvabhootaanaam " (Gita 5/29) and He gives them the freedom that from all the various spiritual disciplines that are there - Karmayog, gyaanyog, bhaktiyog, etc., with any one spiritual discipline, man can easily attain Me and can be freed from sorrow, suffering etc. Once and for all he can eradicate these (sorrow etc,) from the root.
