Dear Friends, Fellow Devotees and Travelers,

 

Love and Love alone…..

 

We are writing to you all today with a specific purpose. Kindly go through this

mail keenly and patiently and let us know your willingness or otherwise to be

with us on 2 October 2009.

 

As you are all well aware that we have started Telugu Bhakti Pages (TBP) more

than a decade ago and the TBP Digest in the year 2003. TBP is an extension of

the website www.telugubhakti.com.

 

Telugu and Bhakti are the two wheels and TBP is the axle that links them to take

the visitors on an exciting journey. Bhakti towards Telugu language and Bhakti

expressed through Telugu are the two themes for the website and the group.

 

This group works as a channel to bring you:

 

- telugu poetry, prose, essays, folklore, culture, yoga, nature cure, health

etc.

- rituals (nomulu, vratalu, poojalu vagaira)

- bhakti songs, stotras expressed through telugu language and

- sanksrit slokas in telugu script.

- Audios and videos of songs, stotras, pravachanalu, upanyasamulu etc.

- reviews about books in telugu, english and sanskrit dealing with the above

subjects

 

Thus you can find posts on very wide range of topics with a few clear lakshman

rekhas: commercial posts promoting individuals or businesses, unfair attacks on

individuals, posts connected with cinemas, dramas, contemporary social novels,

stories, TV Plays, political posts etc. are a clear no.

 

We, especially our brother Sri SV Swamy, who is one of the Moderators, have been

trying not to reject any message without giving a proper thought and some posts

may be accommodated after editing. We sincerely thank you for your kind

cooperation and also solicit your cooperation in future too while welcoming your

feed-back and blessings.

 

Having said the above, we wish to CORDIALLY INVITE you all for a One-day

SATSANGAM on 2 October 2009 at Hyderabad. We have been conducting Satsangams

under TBP banner for the last three years for a very limited and keenly

interested devotees, but it is for the first time, we are opening doors of this

annual feature to all the members of TBP. We will let you know the detailed

programme in due course of time. However, in a nutshell, the Satsangam contains

the following:

 

- Short duration Pravachanas by Five Eminent Scholars and Veda Pandits on

different aspects of Spirituality.

- Group discussion on an interesting spiritual subject.

- Bhajans and Kirtanas

- Some of the issues touched upon are Yoga, Mudras, Meditation, Puja, etc.

- Power Point presentations on Tirumala, etc.

 

There is NO ENTRY FEE. But, we request you and definitely expect you to register

beforehand by mail. KINDLY DO NOT GIVE US SURPRISES. The LAST DATE OF RECEIPT OF

YOUR WILLINGNESS TO BE ONE WITH US IS 27 SEPTEMBER. Kindly furnish the following

details in Capital Letters in your registration mail:

5. Hobbies or interested in or well-versed in or areas or subjects of expertise.

6. Whom to contact in case of emergency, their address and Telephone number.

 

Since the accommodation is less, the seating arrangement will be on

first-come-first served basis. In fact, the seating capacity of the hall is

rather limited to at the most 100 members. We will, therefore, accept

registrations only on a First Come First Served Basis! Register yourself only if

you are certain that you will be able to participate in the event.

 

We provide you two times coffee, morning and afternoon and also lunch, so that

you can be with us throughout the day comfortably. We value your active

participation and welcome your interaction, in whatever way you can, in the

programme. But, kindly note that NO ACCOMMODATION will be provided for

outstation participants and NO TRAIN OR BUS FARE is reimbursed.

 

Last but the least, this effort is being made not only to encourage bhakti

within us but also to meet all TBP members and interact with each other in a

spiritually vibrant atmosphere and, ultimately become eligible for HIS blessings

in this life itself.
