How is this Inert World, a Form of God?

All is God (Vasudeva Sarvam)

Question: When everything is only Paramatma - " Vasudeva Sarvam " then

in what is the inertness present?

Answer: Inertness is only in the eyes of Jeev (embodied soul)-

" Yehyedam dhaaryate jagat " (Gita 7/5). The reason for inertness is

ignorance.

Question: If inertness is in the intellect, in other words the entire

world is only consciousness (chetantaa), if that is the case, then what is the

difference between this world and Bhagwaan's (God's) abode

(dhaam)?

Answer: Just as in Ramayana Bhagwaan said - " Saatav sam mohi mai jag

dekhaa. Motein sant adhik kari lekhaa. " (Aranyakandh 36/2), in the

same manner, this world is consciousness, but Bhagwaan is even more

extraordinary, where He is the essence of that consciousness. Therefore He is

also called " Aanandkand " , the root of Bliss, the source of Bliss.

Question: The world is constantly changing, then how is it a form of

Paramatma?

Answer: Just like a chameleon changes many colors, but in spite of the

changing colors, it remains the same, and those colors too belong to the

chameleon it self. One cannot separate the colors from the chameleon. Similarly

this world, this Nature (prakriti) is Bhagwaan's divine energy (shakti), and

this divine energy (shakti) cannot be separated from the one who is the source

of that energy (shaktimaan) .

Just as we can see the waves flowing on the ocean, but deep inside the

ocean is a vast even stillness. Deep within the ocean, there are no

waves. Similarly this world is also Paramatma's waves. Therefore that

which is changing is also Paramatma's swaroop (nature) as well as, That which is

unchanging - " Sadsachhahamarjun " (Gita 9/19).

Question: Is the shakti (divine energy, prakruti) is dependent on

" shaktimaan " - Bhagwaan (source of energy), then how is it a form of

Bhagwaan?

Answer: Shakti (divine energy) is not separate from shaktimaan (energy

source); just like nail, hair, even though they do not have lifeforce,

it is not separate from us, rather it is a form (swaroop) of us. In

other words the Prakriti (Nature) does not have an independent existence apart

from Paramatma.

Question: If this world is a form (swaroop) of Bhagwaan i.e.

Bhagwadswaroop, then why is instructions / advice / counseling given to others?

Answer: Instructions/ advice/counselin g is also given considering the

other as our own self. As if the flaw is in our self, similarly it is

in others. Just like when we see flaws in our self, we try to correct

them, similarly others shortcomings are to also to be considered as our own and

are to be corrected. In other words the instructions/ advice is given to

ourselves - " uddharedaatmanaatm ana " (Gita 6/5). Others are given advice from

their perspective, because they desire advice from us.

Passion can be wiped out in two ways –

1) through thoughts / reflection and

2) by doing (actual experience).

If we have the fancy and desire to give instructions / advice /

lectures, then to get rid of those tendencies, Bhagwaan (God) comes to

is in the form of ignorance, in the form of a listener, a questioner

(shrotaa). If one has the desire to rule as a king, then Bhagwaan (God) comes in

the form of subjects / people he can rule over.
