HIM

 

You are never away from Him.

You are in Him - with Him - at Him

You are Him alone.

 

Be free from the persecution

of both joy and sorrow.

Such a one alone

can find peace here, below.

Live in Him who is beyond

both these, the Illuminator, the Atman.

 

HUMILITY

 

Humility is the virtue

of the cultured.

 

Humility is a strange thing.

The minute you think

you have got it,

you have lost it.

 

HYPOCRITE

 

To give physically,

a show of morality and ethics,

while meantally living

a shameless life

of low motives and foul sentiments,

is to be a self-deluded hypocrite,

according to the Gita.

 

I

 

Taht which feels " I AM "

This " I " is neither mind nor matter,

It is eternal.

The external things exist

because of the imaginations

of this " I "

 

IDEAL

 

We compromise with our ideal,

in seeking the temporary gratification

of some passing whim of our mind

on such occasions

the usual justification is

that it is " a necessary evil " .

 

When the Satwic vasanas increase,

your devotion to your ideal

grows more and more.
