Guest guest
Ahamevaasamevaagre naanyadyatsadasatparam Paschaadaham yadetachcha yovasisyeta sosmyaham In the beginning (before this creation) I alone existed in My Absolte State of Being. Other than Me there was n othing, gross or subtle, nor the cause of both - the Prakriti. Now I eixst in the form of this present world and what remains after its dissolution is Me alone. Ritertham yatpratiyeta na pratiyeta chatmani Tadvidyaadaatmano maayaam yathaabhaaso yathaa tamah One should understand that to be My Maya which makes the unreal thing appear in Me like the illusion (of a second Moon) and which veils My Being (even though ever present) lilke the planet Rahu (in the midst of other luminaries). Yathaa mahaanti bhuutani bhuutesuuchchaavacesvanu Pravistaanyapravistaani tathaa tesu na tesvaham Just as the five greatelements can be said to have entered all beingshigh and low and yet can be said to have not entered them, in the same way I am in them, yet not in them. Etaavadeva jijnaasyam tattvajijnaasunaatmanah Anvayavyatirekaabhyaam yatsyaatsarvatra sarvada A seeker of truth of the Self should enquire and know this much alone by the method of anvaya and vyatireka as to what exists everywhere at all times is the Self.
