Some begin a task, but leave it in the middle if they face any difficulty. But a noble man will carry out his work, whatever hardship he undergoes. Whatever one does, it should not be against dharma (righteousness) and nyana (justice). Numerous difficulties may be encountered. People may not like it. There may be monetary loss. Life itself may be threatened. Yet, one must finish a noble task with unshakeable faith in dharma and satya (truth). In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna refers to three types of mental courage. They are Sattvika, rajasa, and tamasa. Ability to bear with any amount of difficulties is descrfibed as sattvika. It is very important. A man with such couragae will complete his task at any cost. He will be of help to many and gain name and fame.
