" Or, One who is the Lord protecting all those who are weary of their samsaaric life of passions and desires. Such ones, exhausted by grazing in the pastures of dissipation' and enervated from the world of happenings, are comparable to cows. Hence Narayana is called here as the " Lord of the Cows " , -`Gopaala.' `Go' also may be interpreted as `sense-organs'.
