SRIVARI SEVA AT TIRUMALA It is with immense pleasure, we inform you that Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanams (TTD) have accepted our request to allow Members of TELUGUBHAKTI PAGES (TBP) to perform Srivari Seva at Tirumala Hills for a period of seven days from 4th February to 10th February 2010. Participation in Srivari Seva is open to all members of Telugu Bhakti Pages, who are between the age group of 18 and 62. The children, sick persons are not permitted to participate in Srivari Seva. Srivari Seva is purely voluntary and there is no financial commitment either on TTD or on Telugu Bhakti Pages. The traveling expenses or any other expenses have to be borne by individual members themselves. Only facilities like accommodation and Free Meals in Nityannnadanam are committed by TTD for performing this pious Srivari Seva. You will be provided Darshan of Swamy only once on the last day of Srivari Seva. However, we are confident that you will be visualizing the Lord in your heart every second while you are participating in Srivari Seva and interacting with several devotees of the Lord, whom you serve in these seven days. As TTD granted permission for 60 persons only to participate in this Seva " First Come - First Served " policy will be followed in accepting the requests from TBP members for participation in Sacred Seva. The under mentioned guidelines, as given by the TTD, are to be strictly observed and followed by Sevaks while performing Srivari Seva. 1. There will be a dress code. Men have to wear white dress, while women have to wear sky blue sari with white blouse. The scarf provided by TTD has to be worn around the neck while performing Srivari Seva. 2. No individual accommodation is provided to any body. However, accommodation is provided free of cost at Sevasadan, in common halls, with common toilets, near RTC bus stand, TIRUMALA. Separate common hall accommodation is provided for women, with common toilets. Free Lockers are provided to all the Sevaks to keep their personal belongings. However, you have to lock these lockers with your own personal locks to safeguard your personal effects. Less Luggage more comfort maxim has to be kept in mind while selecting and bringing your personal belongings to Tirumala. You will be provided Free Meals twice a day in Srivari Nityannadanam sending you in a special " Q " . 3. Please note that Srivari Sevaks will not be posted in Temple premises for Srivari Seva. 4. Govinda Naamam should be used with all love and courtesy to address all devotees while serving them at Tirumala. 5. Attending Friday meeting at 7.00 AM in Srivari Asthana Mandapam will give Sevaks complete understanding about Srivari Seva. 6. Srivari Seva is aimed at giving devotees selfless voluntary service with strong belief that " Bhagavata Seva is Bhagavan Seva " and no money, material is required to do this Srivari Seva, as this is purely SRIVARI SEVA and is Free of Cost. 7. You have to participate in Satsangs, Bhajans, etc. You can utilize the musical instruments in Srivari Seva Sadan for this purpose. 8. All the Srivari Sevaks have to assemble at Srivari Seva Sadan, inside RTC Bus stand, Tirumala by 8.00 AM in the morning of 4th February 2010, so that the TTD prescribed individual forms can be submitted to the concerned authorities of TTD. This will be provided to you when you meet one of these contact persons. This is a simple form and can be filled up then and there. 9.
