Divine guidance of Sai - 9

 

What is the three step formula to attain real peace and joy?

 

First, all of you should develop discrimination to distinguish the

eternal from the transitory and to decide which is worthy. Then, a

sincere attempt must be made to experience what is so chosen as worthy

and true. Finally, this attempt should not be given up whatever comes

your way. Union of these three is called genuine austerity. Only from

this austerity alone is born real peace and joy.

 

How can we experience genuine inner peace?

 

The Lord loves the Inner, not the Outer. But you should not neglect the

outer, even in the outward behaviour and in your acts you should

manifest the inner feeling. That gives a chance for experiencing the

feeling of quietude and santhi (peace) in fuller measure, for the taste

of that santhi (peace) must be enjoyed through every thought, word,

gesture and deed. It is only when santhi is experienced in all these

four, that it becomes fully complete or paripoorna. To attain these,

real change must be made in the daily conduct and in your behaviour. In

every little act, thought and word, one should discriminate and adopt

the best. That is the sign of the genuine sadhaka (spiritual aspirant).

 

Why is Peace quintessential in our daily life?

 

Each is born for the same task...Peace! For without peace, there is no

joy. Peace embellishes each and every act. It softens the hardest core

of every being. It takes you to the footstool of the Lord and wins for

you the vision of God. It knows no distinction. It is the honey of Love,

in the enchanting flower of life. Through peace alone can devotion

expand, and you can attain the highest wisdom. You will become fearless

and attain the conviction that the Lord is visibly present everywhere!
