Guest guest
THE LORD NEVER CREATED THE DIVISIONS AMONG US THE LORD NEVER CREATEAD DIVISIONS AMONG US (MANUSHYAS) SRIMAD BHAGAVAT GITA CHAPTER 4, SLOKA 13 A CLARIFICATION BY HIS HOLINESS CHINNA JEEYAR SWAMY There are many who have given commentaries on the above sloka which states " Chaturvarnam Maya srushatam " , but it is pertinent to quote His Holiness Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy's commentary which totally annihilates the theory that the Lord has created Brahmins, Vysyas, Khastriyas and Sudras and thus conclude that the Hindu Sanatana Dharma divides the society. It is not so, says His Holiness. The Lord has four divisions among his creations, as per the above sloka, continues the Swamyji. They are as per their Karmas, Deva, Manushya, Tiryak and Stavaras. Deva means the Brahma and Indra etc., Divya Purushas, who are entrusted with certain duties to perform for administering the creation of the Lord. Even they have to come back to this Mother Earth after their Punya is over: (Ksheena Punye) Manushya means Human beings with their all Three Gunas, Satva, Rajas, and Tamo., Tiryak means the animal and birds kingdom which walk across and fly. Stavara means the remaining creations of the Lord which can not move viz., the trees and the mountains etc., It is totally wrong to quote this sloka and draw conclusions that the Lord has created the Brahmins, the Vysas, the Kshatriyas, and the Sudras. It is a total misconception and wrong commentary on the sloka. All the members of TBP, kindly note the sacred meaning given to this sloka by His Holiness Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamyji.
